"We fought the good fight, we just didn't win," Boehner told Cincinnati station WLW-AM. Let's see. You fought a fight against the will of the American populace.

"We fought the good fight, we just didn't win," Boehner told Cincinnati station WLW-AM.

Let's see. You fought a fight against the will of the American populace. You fought to eliminate the best compromise that was politically feasible to fix our health care system, which is the most expensive and yet yields some of the worst outcomes in the developed world. Your fight caused economic harm to federal employees and shutdowns in crucial functions provided by the federal government, including the CDC and the NIH.

Perhaps most absurdly, you fought a fight that you could not have possibly won.

I see little "good" about this fight, save for perhaps the marginalization of the Tea Party.
